TD-Scan TSSI API for LabVIEW Readme System Requirements Installation Instructions for TD-Scan API For LabVIEW support For C support Known Issues System Requirements: For best performance, we recommend Windows XP/Vista/7 64 bit, 8GB RAM, 3 GHz CPU, NI-HSDIO 1.6+, and LabVIEW 2009+ 32bit (64 bit LabVIEW is not supported) for using TD-Scan and the TSSI LabVIEW API. Installation Instructions for TD-Scan API: 1. Install the LabVIEW 8.6.1 Runtime Engine. The runtime engine is available on ni.com at: http://www.ni.com/download/labview-run-time-engine-8.6.1/1244/en/ 2. Unzip the files in the included zip file. For LabVIEW Support: 1. Copy the TSSI.dll and data folder from "target\win32" to "C:\Program Files\National Instruments\Shared\TSSI" or to "C:\Program Files (x86)\National Instruments\Shared\TSSI" if running a 64 bit operating system. 2. Copy the TSSI.llb, dir.mnu, and Advanced TesterBridge IO files from "labview\win32\lvxx\instr.lib\TSSI" to "\instr.lib\TSSI". Create the directory if needed. 3. Copy the error file from "errors\English" to "C:\Program Files\National Instruments\Shared\Errors\English". 4. Copy the example files from "Examples\LabVIEW\lvxx" to "\examples\instr\TSSI" folder. (Note: The examples by default look for the example files in the LabVIEW 8.2 directory. Copy the SupportFiles folder to the "\examples\instr\TSSI".) For C Support: 1. Copy the TSSI.dll and data folder from "target\win32" to "C:\Program Files\IVI Foundation\IVI\Bin" 2. Copy the TSSI.h file from "target\win32" to "C:\Program Files\IVI Foundation\IVI\Include" 3. Copy the TSSI.lib from "target\win32" to "C:\Program Files\IVI Foundation\IVI\Lib\bc" and "C:\Program Files\IVI Foundation\IVI\Lib\msc" 4. Copy the examples from "Examples\C" to "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\National Instruments\TSSI\examples\c" 5. Copy the error file from "errors\English" to "C:\Program Files\National Instruments\Shared\Errors\English" Known Issues: 1. The TSSI API supports bidirectional edge placement. However, the TD-Scan software currently supports one edge position per signal. To use bidirectional edge placement, please refer to the 16ChanOutput_hws.xml example as a template.
